TORONTO, ONT (February 2017) - Toronto publishing company Kya Publishing has just announced the location for the 4th annual Toronto Urban Book Expo (TUBE) taking place on Sunday, August 6, 2017: The Toronto Centre for the Arts (5040 Yonge Street at Sheppard Avenue).  TUBE, previously held during Black History Month at the Toronto Public Library, is the only Canadian event dedicated to celebrating urban fiction and culture. This event, now taking place during the Simcoe Day holiday weekend in Ontario, will feature published and independent writers selling their books at a free and family-friendly book fair. Launched in 2007 by writer and Communications Specialist Stacey Marie Robinson as a self-publishing tool for her writing, Kya Publishing now has grown to be a support system for various urban artists and cultural organizations. TORONTO, ONT (February 2017) - Toronto-based writer and founder of Kya Publishing Stacey Marie Robinson will be participating in a Toronto Public Library Black History Month panel discussion " Toronto's Caribbean Voices " on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Maria A. Shchuka Branch from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. The discussion will feature Toronto-Caribbean authors, poets, and publicists, sharing their works of influence by their cross-continental heritage and the future of diversity in literature. Panelist to include Stacey Marie Robinson, Leonicka Valcius, and Joshua "Scribe" Watkis, and will be moderated by Dalton Higgins.
